Hot tubs can burn a small amount of calories, but if you want to lose weight you still need to exercise moderately and eat a healthy diet.
Muscle tension is one of the main causes of back pain, especially tight back muscles caused by long-term poor sitting posture or overwork. Outdoor hot tubs can effectively relieve muscle tension in the back through a combination of warm water and hydromassage.
When chlorine levels in an outdoor hot tub exceed safe limits, entering the hot tub can cause a number of health problems. Even though chlorine itself is safe in reasonable concentrations, excessive amounts can affect multiple systems in the body.
The water temperature of 38℃ to 40℃ is considered to be the most suitable temperature range for promoting blood circulation. At this temperature, blood vessels dilate and blood can flow to the limbs and muscles faster, thereby accelerating the discharge of metabolic waste (such as lactic acid) and delivering nutrients to damaged muscle parts.
Hot water can dilate blood vessels and promote blood circulation. The water in the hot tub is pumped through a filtration system, which removes large particles and impurities, and then passes through an ozone generator, where ozone is injected into the water to disinfect it. Baking soda is not the only substance that can increase the alkalinity of hot tub water. There are other chemicals on the market that are specifically designed for water quality maintenance, such as alkalinity increasers. These products usually contain sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃), also known as soda ash.
If multiple people use a hot tub every day, contaminants such as body oils, sweat, and cosmetics will increase significantly in the water, which will accelerate the consumption of bromine. Frequent use means that bromine needs to be added more frequently to maintain its disinfecting effect.
Common home hot tubs are usually equipped with 3kW to 5kW heaters. For example, a 3kW heater can heat about 2°C to 3°C per hour. If you want to heat from 15°C to 40°C, it theoretically takes about 8 hours. In contrast, if it is a 5kW heater, the time required may be shortened to about 5 hours.
The basic function of an ozone generator is to provide purification for outdoor hot tubs by converting oxygen (O₂) into ozone (O₃). Ozone generators generally use two methods to produce ozone: corona discharge and ultraviolet light irradiation.
Outdoor hot tub involves water and electricity installation, drainage system, heating equipment, etc. If installed improperly, there may be problems such as water leakage, circuit failure, uneven heating, etc., and even affect the safety of users.
